We’re adding Megan as another photographer to Dave & Annie! The photo below is in Trinity Church Congregational in Bolton MA – the church both David and Megan grew up in (they have been friends for a long time). I (Rhiannon) met Megan while David and I were dating . . . so, almost 10 years ago already! She was also a guest at our wedding (at this very church) and the pictures below are some that David and I took at her wedding here just over 2 years ago. Now Megan is jumping on board as another photographer with Dave & Annie!
You may be wondering why we would add a third photographer to our business. We’ve always cared immensely about capturing all parts of your wedding day seamlessly – in fact, we believe that we care as much as you do about documenting your wedding day. One part of making sure we can do this easily is by meeting with you ahead of time and working through your timeline to be sure we’re all on the same page. We discuss the shots that you envision having and we talk through relationship issues (for instance: are your fiancé’s mom and dad divorced and at odds with each other?!) to avoid during the formal portrait part of the day. However, the biggest part of this is always having two of us present on your wedding day.
Even with all the planning ahead of time, although it’s not impossible, it can be stressful to capture all parts of your day with only one photographer. David and I have each photographed a few weddings on our own and come away with some amazing images, plus there are plenty of amazing wedding photographers around that shoot solo all the time. However, from our experience, it’s much better to have two of us always present – everything flows seamlessly and we’re able to focus (pun intended) more on you. We know that we will be able get images of both bride and groom as you get ready, we will capture different angles of the same moments (like both your face and his as you walk down the aisle), and we will be sure to get pictures of all those details you’ve worked so hard on! I could keep going with more reasons why we know it’s a great idea to have two photographers at every wedding, but I think you get the point!
That’s why we’re adding Megan to the mix, she’s an experienced photographer having photographed weddings and even our photos for a Christmas card a few years ago! With her on our team we can open up our schedule to accommodate more couples! David has been busy with his own cyber security business, so we had pulled back from booking wedding clients in the last year or more since we wouldn’t have had an appropriate amount of time to really give them the attention they deserved leading up to and following their wedding date. Adding Megan on as a photographer means that when David is swamped at work, we can still be 100% focused on you and your big day to give you the best images possible!
Plus, to celebrate on-boarding Megan, we’re offering a great deal to couples still looking for their wedding photographer – we will gift a 20-page (8×8) album credit to all weddings booked in 2018!
